Here you can find the notation used when solving a Rubik’s Cube.

Lower case letters are the same thing as their uppercase counterparts, but you turn two layers instead of one; also known as a double-layer turn.

U - turn white face clockwise / U’ - turn white face counterclockwise
F - turn green face clockwise / F’ - turn green face counterclockwise
R - turn red face clockwise / R’ - turn red face counterclockwise
B - turn blue face clockwise / B’ - turn blue face counterclockwise
L - turn orange face clockwise / L’ - turn orange face counterclockwise
D - turn yellow face clockwise / D’ - turn yellow face counterclockwise
M - r’ R / M’ - r R’
E - u’ U / E’ - u’ U
S - f F’ / S’ - f’ F

Rotations:

Rotation U color F color
x blue white
x’ green yellow
y white red
y’ white orange
z’ green orange
z green red
